The Waiting List
We have redesigned the Personal Brewery to make an improved version, Generation 2, (with 230V and 120V capabilities). Although the feedback and the beer quality from Model 1 was exceptional, we decided to make some changes to the machine to make it more robust and user friendly. In addition, in the process of making the changes, we have addressed some maintenance issues by making more of the componentry modular, so that in the unlikely event of a fault, we can send the spare components out and have the machine repaired quickly. We were granted C-tick compliance for New Zealand and Australia in January and have been selling to New Zealanders who on the Waiting List since then. In New Zealand we sold almost 70 breweries in the first 70 days and we're now continuing to sell more as well as validate the new breweries that are already out there. The results have been fantastic and all the guys getting units and brewing are loving the process and the results. We will put photos of the new unit and new brewers up soon, but we're so busy getting units out there to validate Gen2 and clear our New Zealand waiting list of about 180 brewers, that we holding off announcing this publically and on facebook until late April or May. After N.Z. we’ll sell to the Australians and Singaporeans on the waiting list as we have distributers in those regions. During this time we will then apply for CE and UL certification for Europe and the US respectively so we can sell in those regions. We will also attain what certifications we need for other countries where individuals have requested breweries. Our highest priorities need to be the USA, Brazil, Europe and Canada as these are the four area’s that have shown the most interest. However we will endeavour to be able to supply units anywhere by late 2013 and will contact those in other countries on this Waiting List regarding purchase and shipping options. We are still using this Waiting List for those interested in the Generation 2 WilliamsWarn Personal Brewery both here and NZ and globally so if you are interested please sign up. We can then contact you when we are ready with Generation 2. All ingredients and other items on our website are still for sale for those in New Zealand. The total cost of the purchase of one brewery will be NZ$5800 in New Zealand (excluding GST). On top of this you need a CO2 gas bottle that you can supply yourself or buy from us for NZ$250 (full). In Australia the price will be approximately AU$5850 in Australia (including taxes, excluding domestic shipping, excluding the gas bottle). In the US, as an example, you could expect a final cost in the vicinity of US$5800 +/- 10%. There is no obligation to buy a unit if you put your name down on the Waiting List, but we would kindly ask that you only complete the form if you are serious about having one of these in the near future. We do ask for your patience though. We are a start-up company who has created something unique and creating a new product often takes longer than anticipated due to the hundreds of variables at play, such as suppliers, legal requirements, compliance, beta testing etc. We are moving fast now but we need to be sure of the product in order to ensure all purchasers of the Gen2 brewery are 100% satisfied.
